The Wire Mill Operator loads raw wire into production machines, initiates machine cycles, and unloads finished parts in a highly repetitive, fast-paced job shop environment. This role supports daily shop operations by running multiple machines at once, assisting other departments as needed, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The operator monitors product quality from start to finish, makes basic adjustments to equipment, and helps ensure that all finished wire is properly labeled and stored for accurate tracking.

Work Environment
This role is based in a climate-controlled machine shop environment where you will work around production machinery and various metals. You must be comfortable working in a loud setting while wearing proper PPE and be willing to get your hands dirty as part of daily tasks. Steel-toed boots are required as part of the dress code. The position is on 2nd shift, working Monday through Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. with a shift differential, and requires training on 1st shift for approximately two months, with some flexibility in the training schedule.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.63 - $24.72/hr.
