SUMMARY
Drives truck equipped with dump body to transport and dump loose materials such as sand, gravel, crushed rock, coal or bituminous paving materials by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned
Inspecting truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes and fluid levels.
Driving in a safe and courteous manner.
Ability to work alone
Ability to make decisions regarding different situations
Must have good communication skills.
Must project professional image to internal and external customers.
Must follow all D.O.T. rules and regulations.(i.e. weights)
Must keep equipment clean and in working order.
Must keep paperwork in order.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent; or six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must have valid CDL license and pass a DOT physical and substance test.
