Job Description

gpac is partnered with a Mechanical Contractor that is looking to add a Structural Engineer to their team. The ideal Structural Engineer will have 5+ years experience in a similar role and can oversee the review and analysis of mechanical piping systems, prefabrication process, and structural supports.

Structural Engineer Responsibilities:

Conducting structural analysis and design reviews of mechanical piping systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Evaluating and approving prefabrication designs and processes for mechanical piping and structural supports.
Collaborating with mechanical engineers and project managers to assess the structural integrity of piping layouts and support systems.
Performing stress analysis and evaluating the impact of thermal expansion, vibration, and other dynamic forces on piping systems.

Structural Engineer Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
* Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on prefabrication.
