Position Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical, connection-obsessed, and systems-minded Senior Product Manager to join our decentralized core Engineering group under an uncompromised full-time individual contributor (IC) remote engagement framework open across India, Europe, and the United States. Operating as the primary product authority for our core developer infrastructure platform, you will step up to claim true individual operational and strategic accountability over optimizing the daily monitoring and debugging workflows of thousands of global engineers. Shifting completely away from routine visual backlog grooming, passive administrative ticket coordination, superficial template text writing, or simple generic feature tracking loops, you will run an active developer requirements harvesting, API structure auditing, and high-cardinality data exploration laboratory—partnering face-to-face with open-source power users, senior SREs, and internal core engineering squads. This position requires a seasoned B2B software product veteran with 5-8+ years of technical closing depth who maps out scalable developer utilities fluidly natively using Project Management methodologies, evaluates complex backend telemetry structures cleanly natively leveraging data systems architecture knowledge, and commands deep user-experience-driven product lifecycles confidently under hyper-growth global scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Core Alerting Experience Architecture: Formulate, design, and optimize the end-to-end alerting subsystem—governing rule creation UI, granular static and dynamic thresholds, anomaly detection logic, notification routing, and signal-to-noise optimization parameters to completely eradicate on-call alert fatigue.
• APM Workflow Optimization: Shape the core application performance monitoring framework, directing the visualization of complex service maps, real-time latency/error/throughput dashboards, and distributed trace span analytics to minimize Mean Time to Resolution (MTTR).
• Frictionless Developer Onboarding Governance: Own the critical trajectory from user registration to initial telemetry insight, building elegant instrumentation flows across language SDKs, collectors, and server-side configurations cleanly natively utilizing Project Management frameworks.
• Connected Investigation Engineering: Define the connective query patterns and interactive paradigms that seamlessly bind metrics, system traces, and application logs into a single coherent investigation workspace rather than isolated tracking tabs.
• Observability UX Detail Mastery: Sweat the fine details crucial to engineering power users, refining empty states, implementing ultra-fast query keyboard shortcuts, establishing sensible engineering defaults, and optimizing performance over petabyte-scale data models.
• End-to-End Initiative Execution: Direct technical infrastructure updates throughout their full lifecycle—transitioning seamlessly from rigorous problem discovery to spec authoring, collaborative system design, rollout testing, and continuous open-source product iteration.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 to 8+ years of verified professional history running advanced product management, B2B technical product delivery, or system infrastructure product lifecycles.
• Proven track record of success independently shipping product-centric, user-experience-led systems at a B2B enterprise or deep-tech developer software company.
• Expert-tier capability translating user requirements into rigorous technical roadmaps, writing granular PRDs, and executing async architectural tradeoff analyses natively utilizing Project Management frameworks.
• Strong, practical technical fluency allowing you to evaluate API documentation, reason through high-scale network data structures, and earn deep respect among senior engineering peers.
• Demonstrated attention to detail regarding developer utilities, including active experience configuring advanced application defaults, keyboard-driven workflows, and database exploration structures.
• Location Context: Position open to qualified technical product professionals located and resident permanently within India, Europe, or the United States to execute a highly autonomous, work-from-home remote track.

Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)

• Prior product management engineering background within a fast-paced Series B+ venture-backed developer infrastructure startup.
• Direct domain exposure running observability tools, application performance monitoring (APM), cluster logging, or distributed tracing engines.
• Hands-on system familiarity dealing with the OpenTelemetry (OTel) specification, ClickHouse databases, Kafka streaming meshes, or Kubernetes container arrays.
• A professional background or future ambition as a technical founder in the B2B SaaS, developer framework, or infrastructure-as-code market.
