Quark Expeditions is the leading polar expedition travel company headquartered in Toronto, Canada. We operate cruises to Antarctica and Arctic regions (Greenland, North Canada, Svalbard) on board of 3 modern polar expedition ships – Ultramarine, Ocean Explorer, and World Explorer. Since 1991, Quark has been establishing a tradition of firsts in polar travel: as the first to transit the Northeast Passage with adventure travellers; the first to take travellers to the far side of Antarctica; and the first to circumnavigate the Antarctic continent with guests. We are looking to hire a Polar Travel Advisor to join our team! Reporting to our Sales Team Manager , you´ll be responsible for closing deals and maximizing revenue. This role requires an unstoppable sales mindset, an ability to identify and convert high-potential leads, and a commitment to outworking the competition. The ideal candidate is a go-getter who grows with work hard, vitality, and goal attainment.

What you’ll do:

Sales & Target Attainment:

  • Energetically pursue and close sales, consistently hitting and exceeding monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
  • Increase every opportunity by engaging prospects, overcoming objections, and closing deals efficiently
  • Drive high-velocity outbound sales through proactive calls, emails, and follow-ups to keep the pipeline full
  • Leverage vitality and scarcity to drive decision-making and accelerate conversions

Revenue Generation & Performance:

  • Own your sales number and be fully accountable for achieving and surpassing quota
  • Maintain laser focus on revenue-driving activities, eliminating distractions that don’t lead to bookings
  • Optimize lead conversion rates through rapid response, follow-up and strategic cross-selling

Product Knowledge & Expertise:

  • Master the details of Quark Expeditions' offerings and position them as must-have experiences
  • Use consultative selling techniques to highlight value and uphold premium pricing
  • Stay ahead of market trends, competitor strategies, and customer preferences to sharpen your pitch

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:

  • Lead your development, actively seek feedback, refine your pitch, and always strive for improvement
  • Work closely with marketing, operations, and customer service to ensure a seamless sales-to-travel experience
  • Share practices and winning tactics with the team to drive collective success

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven track record of smashing sales targets in a competitive environment (travel, hospitality, or related field preferred)
  • Hunter mentality with a strong drive to win and exceed revenue goals
  • Unmatched work ethic , resilience, and ability to thrive under pressure
  • Elite communication and persuasion skills , can close over the phone, email, and chat
  • Experience using CRM systems ( Salesforce experience is a plus )
  • Flexible working approach to collaborate across different time zones
  • Passion for travel and a love for the thrill of the sale
