Night Auditor (Hotel)

Carter Support Services is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Night Auditor to manage overnight front desk operations while performing daily financial and audit responsibilities. This role is critical to ensuring accurate financial reporting, smooth overnight guest services, and a secure hotel environment during late-night hours.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently overnight, has strong attention to detail, and provides excellent customer service to guests during non-traditional hours.
Perform overnight front desk duties, including guest check-ins and check-outs
Balance and reconcile daily hotel financial transactions and reports
Prepare daily revenue reports and ensure accuracy of postings
Process payments, billing adjustments, and night audit procedures
Address guest requests, concerns, or issues during overnight hours
Monitor hotel security, access, and safety procedures overnight
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams regarding room status
Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and accounting standards
Prepare reports for management and ensure smooth shift handover
High school diploma or equivalent
1+ year of hotel front desk, night audit, or accounting-related experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
Basic accounting or bookkeeping knowledge
Proficiency with computers and hotel property management systems (PMS)
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions overnight
Availability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays
Previous experience as a hotel Night Auditor
Experience with cash handling, reconciliation, and financial reporting
Familiarity with hotel security and safety procedures
