Job Title: Medical Assistant

Schedule: Monday Thursday Day Shift (6:45 AM 4:00 PM)

Pay Rate: $21/hour (W2)

Location: Cincinnati OH

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and clinically skilled Medical Assistant to support providers in both clinical and administrative functions. The role focuses on ensuring smooth patient flow accurate documentation and high-quality patient support in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage patient flow and document clinical information in EMR systems
• Record vital signs medical histories and medication updates
• Prepare and maintain complete and accurate patient charts
• Assist with medication refills prior authorizations and patient communication
• Maintain exam rooms supplies and clinical readiness
• Coordinate scheduling patient intake and communications
• Perform clinical procedures including:
  • EKGs
  • Phlebotomy
  • Vaccinations
  • Assisting with in-office procedures
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and patient confidentiality (HIPAA)

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program
• BLS certification required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications:

• 25 years of Medical Assistant experience
• Experience in primary care specialty clinics or urgent care settings
• Familiarity with Epic EMR
• Certification as CMA or RMA
• Clinical experience with wound care splinting suture removal or procedural assistance
