Job Description

A growing manufacturer is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support production and facility operations through preventive maintenance, advanced troubleshooting, and equipment reliability improvements. This is a hands-on role critical to minimizing downtime and maintaining safe, efficient plant performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and processing machinery

Read and apply blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation

Maintain refrigeration and utility systems including compressors, pumps, condensers, heat exchangers, ammonia and Freon systems

Conduct root cause analysis and implement countermeasures

Support parts ordering and maintenance inventory control

Perform minor facility and grounds maintenance

Complete safety checklists and uphold strict safety standards

Identify and recommend continuous improvement opportunities

Support workflow direction when equipment output impacts production

Required Qualifications:

6-8+ years of industrial maintenance experience

One recognized maintenance certification (electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, or reliability)

Ability to perform electrical and electronic systems maintenance independently

Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

Ability to read and interpret technical documents and safety procedures

Preferred Qualifications:

Multiple maintenance or technical certifications

PLC certification

Advanced refrigeration certification

High school diploma or GED
