Job Description

A mid-sized law firm in Atlanta is seeking a detail-oriented Legal Billing Specialist to join its collaborative accounting team. This role offers a hybrid schedule and the opportunity to work closely with attorneys and leadership to ensure accurate and timely billing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and finalize client invoices using Orion
• Edit pre-bills, track time entries, and ensure billing accuracy and compliance with client guidelines
• Manage electronic billing (e-billing) submissions and resolve rejections
• Communicate with attorneys and staff regarding billing inquiries and adjustments
• Assist with reporting, collections support, and month-end processes

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of legal billing experience (law firm required)
• Experience with Orion strongly preferred
• Familiarity with e-billing platforms (e.g., LEDES formats)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
