Job Description

Salary: $179,400 - 225,100 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree
• Minimum 4 years of application development experience (internship experience is excluded)
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with big data technologies
• A minimum of 1 year in cloud computing environments (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
• Preferred Qualifications:
• 7 or more years of application development experience, including Python, SQL, Scala, or Java
• 4+ years of experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
• 4+ years of experience with distributed data and computing tools (such as MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive, EMR, Kafka, Spark, Gurobi, or MySQL)
• 4+ years engaged in real-time data and streaming applications
• 4+ years of experience with NoSQL implementations (Mongo, Cassandra)
• 4+ years in data warehousing (Redshift or Snowflake)
• 4+ years of proficiency with UNIX/Linux environments, including basic commands and shell scripting
• 2+ years of experience practicing Agile engineering methodologies

• Collaborate with Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions using full-stack development tools and technologies
• Work alongside a team of developers proficient in machine learning, distributed microservices, and full-stack systems
• Employ programming languages such as Java, Scala, Python, and Open Source RDBMS, along with NoSQL databases and cloud-based data warehousing services like Redshift and Snowflake
• Demonstrate your enthusiasm for current tech trends by experimenting with new technologies, participating in both internal and external technology communities, and mentoring fellow engineers
• Partner with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans to achieve their financial goals
• Conduct unit tests and perform reviews with team members to ensure that your code is meticulously designed, elegantly coded, and optimized for performance
