Job Description

LS2group is seeking a highly skilled Graphic Designer to join our Des Moines, Iowa office. We are looking for a detail-obsessed, exceptionally fast-paced professional with a talent for creating polished, corporate-style marketing for all marketing and advertising tactics. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured, collaborative environment and excels at delivering high-quality designs under tight deadlines.

The Graphic Designer will play a key role in developing and executing creative concepts for internal and external marketing and advertising campaigns. This is not a web design or web development role; we are seeking expertise in print and digital marketing materials, not website creation or coding. This position requires a meticulous eye for detail, the ability to juggle multiple projects, and a commitment to producing flawless work at an accelerated pace. The ideal candidate will feel at home in a corporate setting, crafting clean, professional designs that align with client brand standards and marketing objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design a wide range of marketing materials, including print ads, brochures, booklets, fliers, billboards, and digital/web ads, based on strategic plans.
  • Collaborate with public relations and marketing teams to ensure seamless integration of advertising and marketing efforts.
  • Work with various team members to produce high-quality materials, overseeing production elements such as paper selection, vendors, and freelancers as needed.
  • Deliver projects on time, every time, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously. Proactively communicate with managers if challenges arise.
  • Adapt design aesthetics to meet diverse client industries and target audiences while maintaining a professional, corporate tone.
  • Write copy, headlines, or scripts as needed to support campaign goals.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams on video shoots, photo sessions, and other production activities, ensuring alignment with project vision.
  • Contribute to new business presentations and pitches as requested.
  • Maintain expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) as well as Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, and Sheets) and stay informed on current design trends and software updates.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Exceptionally Detail-Oriented: You catch every typo, pixel misalignment, or brand inconsistency. No detail is too small. Your diligence ensures nothing slips through the cracks.
  • Lightning-Fast: Speed is critical. You work efficiently without sacrificing quality and thrive in a high-pressure environment where quick turnarounds are the norm.
  • Corporate-Minded: Your design style leans toward clean, professional, and structured layouts, perfect for corporate marketing materials. This is not a role for overly artistic or experimental designers.
  • Thorough and Diligent: You approach every task with precision and take pride in delivering polished work that exceeds expectations.
  • A Team Player: You communicate clearly, collaborate effectively, and contribute to a positive, professional team dynamic.
  • Organized and Proactive: You manage complex projects, prioritize tasks, and meet critical deadlines with ease.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, with a portfolio showcasing corporate-style marketing materials (please submit samples with application).
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Products, and Google Workspace.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write copy or headlines if asked.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining impeccable attention to detail.
  • Experience collaborating with teams, managing freelancers, or overseeing production processes is a plus but not required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field preferred but not required with equivalent experience.
