Job Description
Seeking a resilient, highly collaborative, and process-driven Accounts Receivable (AR) Manager to lead a major operational turnaround and centralization initiative. This is a critical leadership role to drive the ongoing standardization of AR, billing, and cash application workflows. The ideal candidate is a solution-oriented business partner who possesses a unique balance of financial discipline and high emotional intelligence. You will be tasked with cleaning up historical aging portfolios, establishing accountability, and formalizing workflows.

Responsibilities
- Forensic AR Cleanup: Immediately design and execute a comprehensive cleanup strategy for the existing aging portfolio, targeting root causes of uncollected funds, unapplied cash, and historical billing discrepancies.
- Drive Accountability: Establish clear cash velocity and collections targets. Hold internal teams, external clients, and department managers accountable to milestones to aggressively reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
- Executive Reporting: Partner directly with the CFO to provide clear visibility into macro and micro AR metrics, aging trends, cash flow forecasting, and bad-debt risk analysis.
- Solution-Oriented Advisory: Partner directly with Department Managers to resolve complex customer billing hurdles. Approach disputes with a consultative, "how can we solve this together" mindset.
- Direct Team Management: Supervise, mentor, and elevate the corporate AR and cash application team fostering a high-performance, customer-service-centric culture.
- Contract & Agreement Formalization : Help implement standardized, practical contract and documentation controls that protect corporate cash flow.
- Training & Field Auditing: Identify training gaps and actively address underperformance or lack of compliance.
